AquaDefender was born from a real experience with water damage.
When founder Noël Spijkers faced water in his home twice in a short period, it became clear that existing solutions were often too cumbersome, temporary, or not widely applicable.
Together with co-founder Maarten Kat, AquaDefender was created from that problem: a smart, reusable water barrier that is quick to install and designed to better protect homes and commercial buildings from water damage.
Our vision
We believe that water protection:
- should be quickly deployable
- should work reliably
- should be reusable
- should not require complicated customization
What started as a personal problem grew into a practical solution for everyone who wants to prevent damage, stress, and high repair costs.
